Can't embark on A Dusty Path even with a compass about adarkroom HOT 5 OPEN

I thought a no hut run was only really possible on the mobile version, and not the web version.

I was thinking of starting a fork with additional endings and a no hut run, but to do it different from the mobile version.

It is only possible on the mobile, as the web version won't let you embark till you get cured meat and there's no way to get it through trades and stuff

If you could make one, that'd be nice... but wasn't the guy who made this game called Blake? How are you able to add stuff?
Sorry if I'm missing something that Github users know, but I'm just on here for games ;)

I made this game! Blake was community manager here on Github for a long time, and I appreciate his help so much. A Dark Room is open source, so anyone can take it and make their own version. Even the official version here contains a lot of work added by helpful folks over the years.

Sure it is. I think all Amir did in the mobile version was make cured meat available at the trader and drop more in the world. Or something like that.
