I like the idea of maintaining the previous quantities. Shouldn't be difficult to implement, either.

could we possible separate the quantity-adjust buttons? when playing in chrome on my mac they activate slightly up and slightly to the left of the top of the ^ and can be tricky to target, causing me to either accidentally adjust up by 10 or dump the qty.

Just finished playing through and I'm interested in contributing. Took a look at the quantity-adjust buttons and thought they could benefit from being just a tad bigger to make targeting them easier. Like this:
