This is a known issue for Docker Desktop v4.25.x https://docs.docker.com/desktop/release-notes/#known-issues-1 and was fixed in v4.26

Thanks for the follow-up. Now if only I could uninstall this busted installation so I can upgrade... 🐥🥚 (not a docs problem, i know)

I'd just add that it might make sense to note the issue on the uninstall docs page, since it's still confusing for those on that version and going to check release notes for a note about the missing script isn't something users are likely to do.
