@domurtag You're right. I haven't found a good way to handle this yet.

I'll probably have to figure out some kind of way to check whether the dropdown changed has dependants, and wait for those dropdowns to finish what they're doing before triggering the onChange event.

In my paricular case one of the checkboxes requires the other, so I was able to workaround this problem by removing the global handler and adding a handler like the following to each select instead

            onChange: function(event, value, requiredValues, requirementsMet) {
                if (requirementsMet) {
                  // handle the change event
                }
            }

The handler now only gets called once for each change, but I don't think this approach will work in the case where one select doesn't require the other.

Note to self: look into JS debounce.

I think this should be handled by the application code. Something as simple as using setTimeout should work. Technically, whenever a child dropdown raises an onChange event, it makes sense for the group instance to raise the same event.
