There were already a couple of fixes queued up so have just released v1.0.1 to crates.io with fix for this applied.

Hi @w4, thanks for reporting.
I'll start looking into fixing this. I've definitely tested single scrobble batches without problems before.

Fix is committed (6ec28e8). Response to a scrobble batch usually contains a list of scrobbles, but single-scrobble batch response had a single scrobble (as an object) under the same key. So I now use a custom deserialiser for this field to handle both cases.
Will see if there's anything else to be released alongside this & release within a few days.
