License + flask question about pym-elfinder HOT 3 OPEN

regarding the license, basically I do not want to restrict the use of this library, but I want modifications to be published too. What is it you want to do?

To run the lib with flask, there should not be any modifications necessary. Of course you must setup a XHR controller in flask that calls the lib with appropriate parameters. Here, ll48 and here it is done for Pyramid.

Hi dmdm,

I just need a license which allows me to distribute the code to my clients closed source. AGPL wont work for me unfortunately as far as I understand. elFinder is BSD license and hence we can use it. Of course if I make any changes to your code, I would not mind making it open source. I completely understand that my requirements might not be what you had in mind. Thanks for the links, will have a look.

Hmm, this license stuff is not really my favorite world... pym-elfinder is a library and as such should not require the main program to also be open sourced. I thought AGPL is like LGPL in this regard -- maybe not.
