Between these two, I'd take the sharper one.

Currently the repository logo is a 2x2 pixel image:
GitHub stretches it with interpolation, so both options can be (with and without interpolation)

The selected logo that is used now is due to the fact that it should be displayed both in text mode and in graphic mode.

An interpolated version of the logo will be able to be displayed in text mode once #165 (ice-boxed) is implemented.
