Help with signing about identity-swift HOT 9 OPEN

Thanks for the response @maebeam. I could potentially take this on if I could get a crash course on the requirements, and how certain things work etc. My hope was someone already experienced with DeSo would finish it so I could keep writing my DeSo client, etc :)

A couple of notes on me, I've written multiple widely used non-custodial crypto wallets (EOS Lynx, and Proton). Both entirely in Swift. I am the former founder and CTO at Proton Blockchain so I understand crypto wallets quite well.

Im currently writing a DeSo swift package to interact with DeSo Backend.

Im also building a SwiftUI DeSo client which is about 60% done (aside from transactions of course).

Anyways, like I said, I was hoping to let someone else that knew the crypto aspect of DeSo handle this identity piece, but in the spirit of helping out, Im willing to take it on.

You’ll need to submit an AuthorizeDerivedKey transaction signed with your real private key before you’ll be able to use the derived key. This library doesn’t yet have that ability (hence it not being quite ready), so you’ll need to find another way of doing it for now. I’m actually on holiday currently, so can’t really be much more help to you, but will try to respond in more detail next week if nobody else gets to it first.

Okay, got it! Thanks Andy. I may tackle some other things until you get back. I assume that the Authorize Derived Key functionality is something that would be wrapped into this library anyways, so Ill try and wait until then. :)
