@geoand: this issue is experienced when using command like options like: -Dap4k.build=true
. I am wondering what would be the best strategy to use for testing such cases.
from dekorate.
I'm looking at it to see if I can think of anything :)
from dekorate.
What is the current integration test strategy?
From what I gather is that we activate the build
profile but I don't understand how ap4k comes into play in that case.
Can you please elaborate?
from dekorate.
OK so IIUC, we are using the examples as integration tests, right?
from dekorate.
@geoand: right!
Some of the examples include integration tests.
There are other cases, that might not justify an example and those cases are handled directly inside the the annotation module (see #66).
I guess that similar to #66 we could use the invoker plugin to simulate the command line experience.
from dekorate.
Could we also not just pass system properties to the failsafe plugin using:
<configuration>
<systemPropertyVariables>
<ap4k.build>true</ap4k.build>
<ap4k.deploy>true</ap4k.deploy>
</systemPropertyVariables>
</configuration>
?
from dekorate.
@geoand: we can do that but it won't help, as we need to pass these to the build and not the integration-test.
from dekorate.
Ah yes...
So I guess the invoker is only way to go...
