Interesting concept - had a few questions before investing time/screen real estate into this:

1. How should the app decide which Emoji to use and in which order? The number of colors available is roughly of the order of a hundred, so there'd need to be enough Emoji to cover this use case and they'd have to complement their respective colors well. I wonder if there's an easy/clean way to do this without manual per color assignment.
2. Building off of point 1 - how should we account for different Emoji showing up differently on different browsers? I honestly don't know if this would be a huge issue but if the goal is for this to make things more clear the UX should be as clear as possible.
3. Do we have a good amount of evidence that this is easier for some users? Users already have to distinguish between similar Lego colors when building mosaics so adding this extra factor may or may not be helpful. I usually wouldn't worry too much about this but adding in an extra UI option for this may add friction to the process of generating instructions or confuse users due to similarity to the Lego dots feature. If this is a language barrier issue, would it be cleaner to implement the number key in different languages?
