Low quality of the project about last-wishes HOT 2 CLOSED

Hey @dgafka, long overdue response. I'm sorry for the delay. I'll try to give a rational explanation for this, not an excuse but the harsh the reality. I hope it makes sense.

The goal of the book was not about solving a real world problem with DDD. The goal of the book is to show how both the Tactical and Strategical patterns and concepts work out in a PHP environment. From the response we got from our readers I think we did well on this.

We cannot share with the world the work we do in our day-to-day jobs around DDD, so we did our best to invent a project good enough to share this knowledge. We know it is not ideal but I hope you understand that solving a real world problem with DDD is almost a full-time job. From all the issues you mention, the one that hurts more is the no tests. There is no excuse, I guess the project started as a prototype and grew to show more and more parts and we didn't care much about fixing this issue. I really apologise on behalf of the authors.

I understand, but the things you wrote in here, should be generally available in ReadMe in my opinion.
Also, it would be nice, if you could take a look on MRs/ spend some time on fixing, because atm the application can't be run correctly.
