Confirmed. Snapshot just before crash attached. Cause unknown at the moment.

Looking at the issue again described here: 
http://www.snes9x.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=3726

It is the EXACT same issue. Take this up with the Snes9x team, see if they can 
find 
the fix. If you get anywhere on that, let me know and I'll include it. Also, 
they do 
suggest trying a different copy of the game. Try as many as you can find, and 
see if 
that fixes it.

I tried 4 different versions of the ROM.  Someone in the thread claims that it 
isn't
a rom issue and that the issue was fixed but then some code got merged in that 
broke
it again.

Can we have the option to disable HDMA in the menu?

Says one guy "Every time I got here, and touched the piller in the background 
the Emu
would go down. Indeed turning off HDMA (pressing "0") got me right past that 
point.

Well you shouldn't have to disable the HDMA to fix this. Here's a freeze file 
that 
should work though.
