Hi @robomotic. The do function will pass any additional arguments to the job function. You can see how this works here. So to pass an argument to the job function you can do something like this:

import schedule

def job(message='stuff'):
    print("I'm working on:", message)

schedule.every(10).minutes.do(job)
schedule.every().hour.do(job, message='things')

O gosh that is right, being a novel python developer didn't know about the *args construct.

How would you pass a function? E.g. each time a job is ran, I want to pass datetime.date.today() ?
