Hmm, excuse me, what are you even talking about?
To download this app you don't need to go anywhere; the archive is downloaded from the github servers.
Just go to the releases section and download the latest version.

All Github traffic passes through an HTTPS connection and doesn't require any authorization.
The app itself only works with rule34 site and also doesn't require any authorization.
This is an open source project and you can see for yourself that there are no suspicious aspects in the code.
You can download it and build it locally if you don't trust to my build.
In general, your message is a good recommendation for downloading adult content, but this has nothing to do with the issue of this program.
