I will write a calibration tool for BetterJoyForCemu - perhaps over this weekend.

Until then - you can also check your controller calibration by connecting it to a Switch and calibrating the defaults from there. They would then save on the controller itself. I did that when I first got my controller. BetterJoy reads those values and uses them for the default calibration, so maybe those are off for you.

Have you tried using it wired? If it works fine wired, then you need a new bluetooth dongle. I had similar issues with my old bluetooth dongle. I found that un-pairing everything that was paired to it and re-pairing the pro controller helped a little bit and also always removing the controller from the bluetooth list when I'm done and reconnecting it next time I need it.

I haven't tried it wired, and I always remove it from the device list, also, is the only thing I use the Bluetooth for. what bugs me, is that I've been able to calibrate it for other games, but cemu stays the same.

You should plug the controller with the charging wire to your pc and launch the app it should detect it. If it works then, you know it's the dongle. I had the same experience with my old bluetooth dongle. I could use my controller fine with wiinupro or just as directinput in cemu or other games that works with directinput. But I had issues with this app. I bought a new dongle on amazon and it fixed my issues.

I've just tried that, and it worked just fine, it's a bummer becouse it's the second dongle I've tried. however, better this than a bad controller. thanks for the quick response.

Kinda late replying to this but I also have this problem. I hope this will be fixed with later versions since I like playing wireless.

I am having this issue as well. The joystick doesn't seem to put in max forward when i push the stick.

@MathBurns what dongle did you get to fix this issue?

Asus one on Amazon(USB-BT400)
I have a slight issue with it: the motion controls dont always work, but I can use padtest when I connect to see if it works. If it doesn't just close the app and relaunch. It'll work eventually.

Thanks, I will give that a shot.

I purchased the Asus USB-BT400 as well as another brand and tested it. I am still experiencing left joystick deadzone/calibration issues. I used Hitman and Dark Souls 3 as my test and in those games, when I push forward, they only go up to walking and not in running speed. Any idea/alternative solutions?

idk if it would help but when you first connect your switch controller you can calibrate it with windows. If you did maybe get the bluetooth dongle closer to you? If not then Im stumped.

I didn't read your last comment until now, but that was exactly it! It took me half a day today trying to figure out what's wrong. And it was just simply connecting to switch and calibrate there! Problem solved! Thank you and awesome tool!

Hey David, I have the issue of my pro controller up/down axis not giving full range. I calibrated it in my switch but it didn't help. I didn't understand your advice from the readme 'Switch off "also use for axes/buttons" under motion settings and set the input deadzones to 0' - is this a Cemu option? I'm having the issue in a regular PC game so would appreciate a way to configure deadzones through the app.

Thanks so much for all your hard work on this!

@limeugene1997 you can get the calibration button if you turn on "nonOriginalController" (or something named similar depending on your version of BetterJoy) in settings.
