Description

This is my first SPA using my entire stack PostgreSQL and Sequelize for database, NodeJS and Express for the bakend, React and redux for the frontend.

Functions

  • Consumes the API Rawg.io.
  • Filters between genres.
  • Orders alphabetically and by rating.
  • Searches by name.
  • Has a controlled form to create new video games in the data base
  • Has a Pagination.

What did I learn?

I practiced with the entire stack I've been learning for a about a year ago and react-redux hooks.

  • Search for trailers on youtube for the selected movie.
  • Copies the netflix's interface and user experience.

What did I learn?

  • Practiced with react.
  • Learned some cool effects with CSS like showing the the navbar after a certain amount of scroll.
  • How to give like a shady effect at the bottom of the main image.
  • First time using react-youtube.
  • First time deploying on Firebase.

Functions:

  • Search pokemons by id(1-898).
  • Shows the description reads it out loud.
  • Shows a chart of the pokemon's stats.
  • Shows different angles and shiny versions clicking on the up and down buttons of the cross.
  • Shows the next and previous pokemon clicking on the right and left buttons of the cross.
  • Show a random pokemon.

What did I learn?

  • I learned how to use chart.js to build radar charts.
  • Practiced my animation skills with CSS.
  • I learned how to use logical properties and values.
  • Practiced how to consume an API width vanilla JavaScript.
