Not actually.
from visnetwork.
May be if you use
visOptions(graph,highlightNearest = TRUE)
you can see nearest result to view a group of edges with some meaningful.
nodes <- data.frame(id = 1:10,
label = paste("Node", 1:10),
value = c(10,5,3,7,2,3,2.6,2,9,2),
shape ="circle",
group= c("Gr1","Gr3")
)
edges <- data.frame(from = c(1,5,3,7,9,6,10),
to = c(5,3,7,8,6,10,2) )
graph <- visNetwork(nodes, edges, width = "150%")
#visNetwork::visNetwork(nodes, edges, width = "150%") %>%
visNodes(graph, scaling = list(label = list(enabled = TRUE)))
visGroups(graph, useDefaultGroups = FALSE, groupname = c("BB1","BB3"))
visOptions(graph,manipulation = TRUE,
selectedBy = "group",
,highlightNearest = TRUE
)

that would indeed be very nice to have a select by edge option
