Did you enabled 'external API access'?

Perfect! I met this problem just now. and solve it by check the 'external API access', too. Thanks
from tinytinyrss-fever-plugin.
Does the url work in your desktop browser?
It should say:
{"api_version":3,"auth":0}
from tinytinyrss-fever-plugin.
Yes, I get exactly that output.
I tried setting the DEBUG to true and user to my id, but there is no error file being outputted. I must be doing something else wrong.

It should say the same in safari browser on the iDevice.
Try resetting the data for the plugin under TTR prefs, then use a new password.

That was the next thing I tried after inputting my passwords, sorry for not mentioning it. I did it three times in total.

Should be fixed with new version currently online here. Try again

Download it and try again i mean ;)

I deleted the folder on the server, placed the new version, cleared plugin data, unchecked plugin and reloaded, checked plugin and reloaded, set pass to three 'r's, attempted login with "admin" and "rrr" and failed because password or username was incorrect. So, this means it's connecting but not accepting my username/pass.
Is "admin," which is my username for tt-rss, incorrect for username? It said to use it in your guide. I find it hard to believe I'm typing in "rrr" wrong.
I am on shared server space, so maybe this could be the issue? I installed tt-rss via softaculous. Also, I cannot login via iOS Safari, but I can do so via iOS Chrome. There is no error returned on the login page for Safari when I attempt to login, it just takes me back to the login page. I can see the {"api_version":3,"auth":0} in both Chrome and Safari on my Touch.
Finally got a debug file to get output:
parameter: {"api":"","api_key":"4dxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"}
answer : {"api_version":3,"auth":0}

When you use admin as login in TTRSS web then admin is your username in Reeder. Did you set the password in the plugin settings of the Fever plugin?
from tinytinyrss-fever-plugin.
Ok, I've been using the right username, then. And, yes, I set the password in the settings of the plugin. It says "password saved" on the bottom right of the screen every time I change the password, but nothing else happens. Like I said, I followed your instructions exactly.
Could it be that I'm on shared hosting?
from tinytinyrss-fever-plugin.
That fixed everything! I didn't see it in your original post, but I also didn't read the entire thread. Thank you very much and please don't hate me for bothering you with this issue for so long!
from tinytinyrss-fever-plugin.
No problem. I also overlooked it at first sight. Have fun ;)
