Recursive import does not work anymore since 4.6.0 about darktable HOT 3 CLOSED

But I was surprised to see that a 2 month old release has (imo) somewhat substantial bugs/regressions (this one here and the other one I reported, #16325) that are fixed in master but don't get a follow-up release (like 3.6.1) for people who just download the installer. I can personally build master, but a stable (!) bug-fix release would be a nice thing in my opinion.

Sorry about the duplicate. I know the workflow, I should have checked archived issues as well as open ones.

I just imagine hearing "fixed in master" doesn't help anyone who doesn't know how to compile darktable or doesn't want to rely on the unstable nightly release.

I apologise if that has been discussed and dismissed before, maybe my suggestion helps though!
