You bring up a interesting problem, my immediate solution would be to send a request to URL1 with disable redirect being set to true and then (given those cookies are returned to you) send those cookies to URL2. You could even send a request to URL1 again with the cookies being set in the request and disable redirect set to false.

The idea here is that since URL redirection is done by the request library there's no difference if the library redirects you to URL2 or if you do it manually.

so in a simplified manner

  1. send Request to URL1 with disable redirect true
  2. store cookies
  3. send Request to URL2 (or URL1) with disable redirect false and the cookies received from step 1

I could understand if there's a niche edge case where the above is impossible. Let me know if this does not work and why and I can help troubleshoot.
