It's strange bug.
I have no minimal example. I open the same example slides you posted on gist.
In some times, in both FF and chromium, running a code (spscificly in "# Non-blocking output of kernel" slide or matplotlib load slide) the screen is just shifted to the left.

I did some chages, try again in chrome and firefox... and let me know, Thanks
NOTE: up and down arrow are no longer working to move slide, it moves with elements inside the slides (cells), use spacebar to go forward and shift+spacebar to go backward.
