copy the file into /usr/bin .... but I don't know which file ?

In the DIST folder unzip 'MountainNotifier.zip'
Then place the unzipped file (MountainNotifier) in /usr/bin/
from ddmountainnotifier.

MountainNotifier com.apple.mail 'New Mail' 'One new Mail by Dominik' 'The mail's body starts with: Hi, growl is cool!'

Try it like this:
/usr/bin/MountainNotifier com.apple.mail "New Mail" "One new Mail by Dominik" "The mail's body starts with: Hi, growl is cool"
(/usr/bin/ prefix before MountainNotifier, double quotes instead of single quotes, & removing the exclamation mark from the end)
from ddmountainnotifier.
