Does it actually launch destiny 2 when the battle.net client isn't running?
Edit: Looking at the log it seems the battle.net client was already running on both attempts. Does it still happen after you reboot your system?
Edit2: Just downloaded destiny 2 and tested it and I'm unable to reproduce the bug.

It worked after reboot, big thanks!
I will investigate further, what caused it.

My guess is somehow you had a zombie battle.net.exe process which was ignoring all the launch commands sent by bnetlauncher.
How it got to that point though I really have no clue...
