Hi, I am particularly interested in date ticks. I was wondering, has there been any development on this? Right now, if I define a linear scale with date objects in the domain, I get the following not-so-nice ticks:

new Date(ticks[1])
Wed Jun 08 2011 22:53:20 GMT+0100 (GMT Daylight Time)
new Date(ticks[2])
Thu Jun 09 2011 01:40:00 GMT+0100 (GMT Daylight Time)
new Date(ticks[3])
Thu Jun 09 2011 04:26:40 GMT+0100 (GMT Daylight Time)
new Date(ticks[4])
Thu Jun 09 2011 07:13:20 GMT+0100 (GMT Daylight Time)
new Date(ticks[5])
Thu Jun 09 2011 10:00:00 GMT+0100 (GMT Daylight Time)

Added date ticks in 1.28.0. See d3.time.scale.
