you just renamed the cypress folder ?
but where sit this cypress folder
I have the following structure

-node_modules/
-docker/
- cypress/
DockerFile

I never actually resolved this, had to pivot away from cypress in containers sadly.

I don't understand how is this a problem with Cypress docker image and not the Docker build process? Is the folder "cypress" ignored by your docker ignore file for example? Can I see a reproducible example I can run? We have been using these Docker images a lot, and have ran them on different CIs without problems, including https://www.cypress.io/blog/2018/08/28/record-test-artifacts-from-any-ci/ and https://www.cypress.io/blog/2018/08/08/fast-tests-tiny-docker-image/ - where we copy cypress
folder too.

Just thought I'd comment because I ran into this exact issue. For whatever reason, cypress/
and cypress.json
were ignored in my .dockerignore
and it caused this behavior
from cypress-docker-images.
