Okay, so I think I have some ideas for this.
We should use the configure step in the CMake build system. A bare include would help . This will require replacing cyclus.rng (in the source) with a cyclus.rng.in file and building cyclus.rng from it using some CMake configure rules (there is an @configure@
macro capability that allows you to substitute the macro with strings defined during the same configure step.
We do something similar (but much simpler) with the suffix.h.in platform dependent configuration. Unless there are complaints, I may steal this issue from you eventually, PPHW. I'm in no rush, of course. I just wanted to take this moment to make note of the above configuration solution I envision for this.
