About the additional bug ... Did you build your binary from code? Or did you download it from www,cvsandbox.com?
New release was not for a long time. But some fixes were done after that. There was a crash related to clicking status bar, which was fixed.

I got it from the releases tab here I believe, I'll check if my version is outdated

Here is the build I did just now from the current code. It should have the fix mentioned. Plus some more, which I did not manage to release officially. I guess I need to.

Although much rarer, I was able to get the same 0fps bug three times (out of like, ~25 tries) on this newer version
so it does still exist, but its much more difficult to get
from cam2web.

Ok it came back at the same amount of occurrences as before (more frequent) soooo yeah still an issue
