Actually, random_object_scaling is disabled in da_nuscenes_dataset. Since KITTI is collected in Germany while other datasets are mostly collected in USA, I only enlarge the SCALE_UNIFORM_NOISE when the data collection locations are very different. The scale range is not carefully tuned or follows some rules.

Sorry, I do not get it. I see you use random_object_scaling in da_nuscenes_dataset. If we run KITTI->nuscenes, can you recommand us SCALE_UNIFORM_NOISE and SIZE_RES in da_kitti_nuscenes_dataset.yaml?

Maybe just refer the range of SCALE_UNIFORM_NOISE of nus -> kitti and enlarge the boxes more strong.
