Pointer arithmetic can't solve this problem because, in OpenCL, memory access tp a vector type must be aligned to the entire size of the vector type.

Solution is to split the vector programs in 3 :
- flush : fastest
- non flush : standard
- unaligned : slower
from openclipp.
