Validation for possible values of a field about provider-gcp HOT 3 CLOSED

Instead of an admission validation webhook, could this just be done with controller-tools enum validation on the CRDs? e.g.

I'd much prefer to use built in CRD controller-tools and/or CRD functionality over using webhooks, where possible. We may have to embrace webhooks at some point, but they're not straightforward for our users to install; perhaps Stacks could help with this?

That sounds like a much better option. We can consider investing in admission webhooks for immutability.
