For the next Craft 2 and Redactor plugin releases, if the “Clean up HTML?” setting is enabled, we’ll start replacing any  s with normal spaces.

Yes! This is driving me nuts.

I saw replaceNbspToSpaces in the docs but can't figure out how I'd implement this on my end.

This doesn't seem to be an issue with Redactor 3 as it seems to be much better at handling this. At least, I'm not able to reproduce this with the steps above.

To clarify, I'm considering this fixed with the plugin's 2.0 release.

The problem is very much alive with Craft 2.6.3015, which ever Redactor plugin version that is/ships with it.

@andris-sevcenko I'm seeing   placed around inline tags. Try creating a link and then adding a space, then another link and another space.

Is there any easy way to go about adding services to remove any  s?
