Website is loading unsecured assets for some reason about website HOT 3 CLOSED

Okay, I think I found our problem.

Looking at the above image, it seems requests to https://craftacademy.github.io/craft-assets/* are now redirected to http://assets.craftacademy.se. Which wasn't the case before. I wonder what recent changes to Github caused that.. 🤔

so @diraulo now that you've found that you can get https on github pages is there any advantage for hosting the site on digital ocean, or would it be cheaper and more performant to have the site itself purely on github pages ...?

@tansaku Indeed with this solution it would be cheaper to host the site on GitHub pages. As much as I was able to get https for our assets gh-pages, I'm not too comfortable with having that handled by a 3rd party service. Would be great if Github could enable https support for custom domain since it's now kinda mandatory for sites.. even Heroku will soon allow SSL free of charge for custom domain (used to be $20/month I think for that feature - More here)

The DO droplet that's currently hosting the site also runs other apps for CA. If it was the only app on there, I would move it completely to Github pages. But there's no fire 😉
