Thanks.
I've tested it with Brave, and it also shows the problem for me.
Interesting that it works both on Firefox and Chrome.

Thanks for the bug report (and the fix).

However, can you please add some additional infos.
Especially which Browser, Device, and Site you see these problems.

I've tested it right now with Firefox and with Chrome on my Linux laptop, and I don't see any scrollbars at all.

Please excuse my not so detailed bug report earlier.
Here are the details you'd require
Browser : Arc Browser & Brave Browser
OS : Mac OS Sonoma ( M1 chip )
Site: if you have the above specs you'd see the scrollbars in any of the latex expression.
Eg - https://cp-algorithms.com/data_structures/sqrt_decomposition.html
