Hi, same issue with turbo-http: bjoern does not rely on preforking, thus vanishing any performance gain by running on a single process only.

Here are some numbers:

    Req/Sec    20.89k   569.23    22.95k    90.20%
  2502721 requests in 30.10s, 238.68MB read
Requests/sec:  83144.11
Transfer/sec:      7.93MB

I had done some benchmarking with japronto, which proved to be the faster single-process server based on event-looping. I dare to stress parallelism in this repo, so, if possible, i prefer to stick with gunicorn+meinheld.
