Merge with mr.bob? about cookiecutter HOT 2 CLOSED

mr.bob is cool, great work there :) I studied it in detail...while there are similarities, there are also huge differences that would require breaking changes in either mr.bob or Cookiecutter. For example, Cookiecutter templates are purposely incompatible with the old Paster template format, because I wanted a simpler, more intuitive design.

A full merge seems impractical given the incompatibilities and the sheer amount of work, but there may be ways that we could extract common functionality as separate Python packages. I'll close this issue, but if you have any specific ideas about particular pieces that we could both extract and share without too much work or overengineering to make the pieces fit, let me know.

I'll test cookiecutter for next project to see how it behaves in practice, if I find out you are solving a more general problem, I might just write a migration guide to cookiecutter.
