For now i found a workaround by adding the token in the config file.
contentful config add --mt $TOKEN

I was able to reproduce this, it looks like something wrong with a new os update.
We'll work on a fix asap.

As a workaround you can create the .contentfulrc.json file manually on your working directory, with the following content:
