Unfortunately not, as we are making extensive use of SASS maps throughout the framework. Since node-sass is a binding to libsass, you would need to wait until libsass has reached feature parity with ruby-sass in order to take advantage of all of the features.

Really? That would be great! I'm not a libsass user myself (mostly due to lack of feature parity) but would love to take advantage of it's speed compared to ruby-sass.

Yeah, it doesn't seem to have rolled out to all the plugins like gulp but I did a force update with npm and it worked.
