I guess this would be fixed by using HWND_TOPMOST again.
However this got removed due to people being unable to alt-tab out of games.
Maybe we should implement a hotkey/option for this.

Hm, maybe the program could check for Alt.-Tab presses, then remove that flag, and after the window is active and top again, reenable it.

In Windows 8.1, I find that space engineers becomes a 'fullscreen borderless window', but it is then offset up by the amount of space the taskbar takes up. I therefore cannot see the top of the screen.

@madpew implemented topmost before but a wide range of complaints came in that games became un-altabble so I removed it.

I will work something out. I'll attempt to get a message saying you lost the focus, make it non-topmost again so the other window you switched to can appear.

I guess the proper fix would be to make the window borderless taking the area of the taskbar into account. There should be something like "workable area" on Screen. However, doing this would restrict the borderless-fullscreen to always show the taskbar.

If you did that though, the screen would be squashed, as the game doesn't run at just any resolution (1920 - taskbar height x 1080 for example)

Maybe implement a way to store settings for specific .exe files? Like make this borderless without Taskbar and another app with. Default would be with Taskbar then.

I absolutely love this app, but the taskbar showing up seems to be a major problem. The taskbar seems to register the cursor when it's at the bottom of the screen, and when I click on it, I lose control of the game. I keep the taskbar hidden, but when I mouse down to the bottom in games that have bad implementations of F.B. it shows up again.

If it's possible to have the taskbar hideable on command, then I suggest showing the taskbar when it's needed and then switching applications, then hiding it again when the game regains focus.
