Wow, that's weird, I have GCC 4.9.1 and it says:
gcc version 4.9.1 (GCC)
...and people with 4.9.2 seem to have the same output:

Any idea what's up? Maybe gcc is a wrapper for something on your system? I
mean, I can change it, but would be good to know what's up.

Yeah, I think this is some kind of gentoo-ism-wrapper. I can try to find out
and propose to make it more "default", but changing afl's Makefile was easier
for now (and as I might not be the only gentoo user changing it may still make
things easier - relying on fixed strings is usually never a good idea).

Well, the check is pretty much to detect wrappers around GCC, but if afl works
for you, I'm just gonna replace it with grep -qi 'gcc.version' :-)
