Actually, I posted this at #18, I totally agree that you should get a Resource instead of a plain response. About how to implement this, I'm not totally sure, feel free to contribute with a PR and I'll try to pitch in. Thanks for your time and work @benhamill !

Honestly, in thinking about how I'd write this, I realized that I preferred a much different model for thinking about HAL documents and ended up writing cetacean. In theory, you could write a Faraday middleware to return Cetacean::Response objects instead of Faraday::Response objects... and that would basically cover what Hyperclient is intended to do (I mean--cetacean doesn't cover 100% of the HAL spec yet, but you get the idea).
