I think this issue is same as Force Autoplay Off so if you can try turning that feature to off and check if the playback works

Hey! I'm using the main one from the store. Unfortunately turning off the Force Autoplay feature didn't help.
So there are multiple issues (the cause is probably the same though) and it's not always the same:

1. Page loads, video starts, but gets paused automatically and can't unpause
2. The page won't load and the video plays for a bit (sometimes with the loading circle playing forever), then freezes after a bit (shown below)
3. Page loads, but the video gets paused right away and it's hard (takes a few tries) to make it play and double clicking on the video to fullscreen is also doesn't always work.

These don't happen with the extension off.
