I'm having the identical issue with Windows 7 64bit SP1. I get the missing
manifest or hit the javascript load error, depending where you unpack.

I used 7-zip to extract and just dropped the folder onto my desktop, running
face first into this issue.

I apologize. I did not notice this issue. I saw something similar in the
forums and assumed that was its primary home.

To clarify you must have python2.7 installed. You use python to run the
build.py file that creates a build folder. I think it creates the client
inside that folder, and that is the folder to use to load the unpacked
extension. I had downloaded and built it on Windows XP before posting the zip
file.

To help me understand your problem better, please explain the steps you took
from the time you downloaded the zip file. Maybe I can figure out where you
are having issues.

I installed python 2.7 and double clicked the build.py file, which created the
build folder with no additional issues.

Perhaps if you set up the environment correctly, you can double click the
build.py file. I have not spent much time exploring non-command line methods
of building. Thank you for the heads up.

I also am having lots of issues in getting this built - I have installed
ActivePyton on a Win 7 machine and am getting a class version issue on the java
command when executing build.py - thus since I fully expected that the
pre-built extension was included with the download - and tried loading the
extension into Chrome and also ran across the "Could not load JavaScript
'getactioninfo_script.js' for content script.
