Ah apologies, that does work actually if the menu is top level.
What I'm trying to do is to add a secondary menu item to an existing top level menu. I'd like that option page to have several metaboxes.. I thought that was the right example. Going to have a look at other examples.
Actually, more intro text describing what examples covers would be great rather than just to have a file name to do it :)
