My understanding, and sort of requirement for this, would be no different from what is already done in AWS EKS https://github.com/cloudquery/cq-provider-aws/blob/main/resources/eks_clusters.go

Just the information about the cluster from the Google API point of view ( version, nodepools and so on ) i guess sort of this object https://cloud.google.com/kubernetes-engine/docs/reference/rest/v1/projects.locations.clusters#Cluster

I might give a shot at this as soon as i find the time but i am not a super expert in go so maybe this is a too complex resource for me to start with.

Hey @jbertman Thanks for this. It's def on the roadmap but I can't say exactly when as we are currently putting some effort into more testing. I'll follow-up here again once we have some estimation for this.

I think this is definitely an interesting capability but has some nuances.
Some of the info is available via Google API and some of the info is available via k8s api (where we have a cq-provider-k8s ).

I think It will be interesting to have a smooth integration between the two - for example every cluster found by Google API will be by the k8s provider.

I'll put it on the near term roadmap.

+1 for me - @primeroz any progress an initial implementation? If not, @yevgenypats any roadmap updates for this?
