$.cloudinary.image(public_id, options) does not work by public_id about cloudinary_js HOT 1 CLOSED

When using a code like $.cloudinary.image('sample'), Cloudinary will return a URL like the following:

https://res.cloudinary.com/<your_cloud_name>/image/upload/sample

This URL will deliver the image at its original format.

If you want to convert the image to be delivered in a different format, you can either specify the format as the extension of the public ID, i.e.,:

$.cloudinary.image('sample.jpg')

or by adding the format parameter. i.e.,:

$.cloudinary.image('sample', { format: 'jpg' })

The last two will both return a URL like the following:

https://res.cloudinary.com/<your_cloud_name>/image/upload/sample.jpg
