Allow Multiple blackbox exporters about ansible-prometheus HOT 2 CLOSED

Sorry, somehow I forgot about this issue.

Isn't there a way to split configuration into host_vars or at least groups other than all?

There is nothing preventing you to use other group than all, in demo-site we are doing it just for convenience. However we are not supporting splitting configuration since prometheus also doesn't support it. This means that without some ansible hacks you cannot define part of the config in one place and second part in the other place.

I also need two configure 2 different blackbox exporter jobs... I would like to have them both in one job.

And why do I need to specify the node exporters hard as well?

You don't, there is no requirement to specify anything to be scraped. Requirements start to show when you start using prometheus_targets variable. More in https://github.com/cloudalchemy/ansible-prometheus#relation-between-prometheus_scrape_configs-and-prometheus_targets
