Setup.py support? about nzbtomedia HOT 9 CLOSED

a bit beyond me for now... I am just trying to get this script up and running for v5.0

I'd be happy to provide help with whatever experience I have. It seems somewhat intimidating, but really it's just a standardized way to format packages to be installed into python. Then you create a script called setup.py that provides information such as app name, version, org name, etc. Distutils handles the rest.

berfore this perhaps we should try to clean up everything and sort most of the code into classes and defines, more error handling on what is passed onto TorrentToMedia (very strange torrent names @ BTN sometimes)

Maybe make a roadmap? Im all for makeing this the standarized way of torrenting with Couchpotato and Sick-beard but right now its easy for greenhorns to cripple the script and scream for help :]

You should be able to create and edit wiki on this repo... I made it public...

Have spent a bit of time of this project lately, and probably not going to be able to spend quite as much time for the next few weeks.... But will still try and do what I can.

I can give you access to the repo to make changes if you are interested... Otherwise, edit wiki and send pull requests ;)

most of the main stuff has been done, so maybe now it is time to look at these extra ideas.

Given the extra libraries now used, I'm not really sure about adding this into dist-utils. May review this later, but for now, I'm going to close this one.
