Thanks for the reply. I'm using grav 1.5.7 I cleared the cache, no difference. I'm using FF and Chrome (both with cleared caches), they both give me the same result. Okay, since this is not an obvious thing I may have a corrupt file. I did uninstall and reinstall earlier because I'd been hacking the php file. I just did another one and I still have the problem, so if I did have a corrupt file I don't have one now. I also restarted my nginx server, shouldn't need to but just in case, still no change. Can it be something in settings? my config/plugins/social-seo-metatags.yaml looks like this: enabled: true seo: robots: without length: 20 taxonomy: enabled: true page_content: enabled: false keywords: taxonomy: enabled: true page_content: enabled: true length: 20 social_pages: pages: twitter: enabled: true type: summary username: RogerParkinson facebook: enabled: true appid: '1234567890' I've tried variations on that with no change, but maybe I didn't try the right variation? Also, I didn't explain the thing about the repetitions well enough. I get that it falls back to the site description and that it derives a summary from the first line. But if you want an explicit page description you have to specify it three times. I can't imagine a situation where I would want to specify an explicit page description for, say, just twitter, and leave the derived description in place for og. I would always want them the same, but to do that I have to specify x3. Not a big deal, just seems odd.
