Correction: I guess with the LatexGenerator.xtend the width computation is done in member function calcStyle with the helper class mentioned above. But the code seems to be similar.

I already added support to specify the width with the style parameter (last parameter in imgref). One can now write
for example imgref[][][width=2cm]. This works of course only for latex, needs more improvements.

I usually refer to png files. Why not reading a referenced png file, determine its width in pixels and derive the width in latex automatically. You just have to configure the resolution, like 100 pixel = 1 inch.
