This issue has been partly motivated by (and is related to) #54.

The target of choice is expected to be Rpi Zero
from real-time-cpp.
RpiZero startup and clock config are in progress in another workspace, soon to be transfered to the reference application.

Got a boot working.
But a few TBDs:
- Long-time validity test still faulty.
- Support for FIQ/IRQ not fully implemented.
- Ensure that -marm is correct.
- Not really totally happy with chip's performance with no on-chip RAM.

Some minor defects were found in IRQ handling when using bare-metal armtimer. Benchmarks are now OK after switching to using 64-bit free running clo / chi timer in MCAL gpt.

The only part of this issue remaining is to improve the docs here at Github for the PiZero. Consider making a dedicated brief MD-file for bare-metal PiZero.
from real-time-cpp.
PiZero bare-metal implementation of the reference application is now finished.
The first sets of benchmarks run successfully.
